When Everything Feels Like Too Much

And what you most want is solid ground to get back on your feet…You’ve found the right place.

Some of us are great at pretending all is well, and others… not so much.

Either way, inside you might be

A woman with blue eyes and light skin, partially hiding her face with a beige hoodie, is looking directly at the camera. Her hair is styled in a messy bun on top of her head, with highlights and dark brown shades. She is holding the hoodie with both hands, pulling it up around her face.
  • feeling everything deeply and just wanting to hide

  • overthinking and second-guessing every decision

  • saying yes when you really mean maybe or no

  • taking the blame when things go wrong

  • going to bed with your mind racing and waking up drained

  • feeling uncertain about who you really are or what you need

  • wondering whether you can trust yourself to handle life

Here’s something to remember:

When you’ve been taking care of everything — managing everyone's feelings, second-guessing your own, keeping the peace at the expense of your sanity — it makes perfect sense that you'd be exhausted.

The lovely thing is, it doesn't have to stay that way.

This work is about making your way back to the part of you who knows what you think, what you need, and what you really want — that crucial, tender bit that got pushed aside when everything else took priority.

That wise, most YOU part is still in there.

That’s the place where things begin to feel calmer and clearer, and where your best answers live.

Coaching can absolutely help you get there.

What Coaching Actually Looks Like

We meet one-to-one, online. Each session is a place where you can slow down, speak honestly without fear of judgement, and start to make sense of what's been overwhelming you.

There's no pressure to arrive with clarity or have something to report. We start wherever you are that day. That might mean looking at a way of reacting that keeps showing up no matter how many books or podcasts you delve into. It may mean realizing just how much energy you’ve been giving away. Or maybe you want to discuss something from the 50 tabs you have open on your desktop. (If this is you, you are my people!)

I bring careful attention and a good ear for what's actually being said, along with accountability if that helps you move forward. Between sessions, I usually suggest small, practical things to try or notice, and we'll talk about what worked and what didn't when we meet again.

Clients often come to me feeling burnt out and stuck in patterns they can't easily explain: putting everyone’s needs above their own, doubting their ability to handle even one more thing, and unsure how to do things differently. Over time, they start to trust themselves and make decisions from a much more calm and centred place.

“Patrice has guided me through some of the most difficult times of my life, always with a gentle hand and loving heart. She has helped me to recognize and release much of the fear that I’ve lived with for a good portion of my life. While I continue to learn and grow, Patrice’s guidance has been invaluable to me and I will always be grateful to her for it."

“The biggest thing Patrice has helped me with is to take a step back and think outside my initial thoughts and reactions. This has allowed me to shift my perspective when faced with a challenge and open myself to new options. She is a kind, compassionate, and gifted coach."

"I am now aware that I create my future by aligning my thinking, feelings, and expectations.
I see how resistance and attachments sometimes blind me to seeing the good things in life. Patrice has given me a different, bigger lens in which to look at situations, and I am so grateful."

About My Approach

I come to coaching knowing that falling off-balance is part of being human, (boy have I been there!) especially when life gets confusing or exhausting.

I'm here to offer support to my fellow sensitives, Highly Sensitive People (HSP), who are usually the supporters. I can help you understand yourself more clearly, trust your own voice, and move forward in ways that feel kinder to you.

I’ve had the honour of working with people all over the world, each with a unique perspective. Respect is one of my top values, and I welcome all types of people with open arms.

After a rich diversity of helping careers, I've now been coaching for more than ten years. If you'd like to read more about the philosophy behind my work, you can do so here.
